A number of small enterprises with backward equipment and weak quality control have been gradually eliminated from the market, while China's leading geosynthetic materials enterprises have continuously improved their export competitiveness with technological advantages and a complete supply chain system.

Recently, the U.S. tariff policy has been continuously strengthened, which has caused a certain impact on China's geosynthetic materials export, leading to a surge in export costs and restricted market access. Faced with this challenge, domestic geosynthetic materials enterprises have actively adjusted their overseas strategies, accelerated the reconstruction of the global supply chain and the layout of market diversification, and sought strategic breakthroughs.

Recently, the China Geosynthetic Materials Engineering Association issued a new version of the industry standard, which further standardized the terminology definition, performance indicators and testing methods of products such as geotextiles, geomembranes and waterproof blankets, promoted the industry to develop in the direction of standardization and regularization, and provided more powerful quality support for China's geosynthetic materials export.
